Overheard Conversation

This morning I heard a conversation between Eowyn and Esme that went a little like this:

Esme: "Hello Grandma."

Eowyn: "I'm not Grandma."

Esme: "Oh." She moved a little bit closer to her sister. "Hi Grandma!"

At this point Eowyn was getting a bit frustrated. She let it show in her voice slightly (with a rather decided yell) "I'm not Grandma!"

Esme seemed to let it go, for about fourty-five seconds. Then she brightened up, got within inches of her sister and chimed up with "Hi Grammy!"
